Caramel Corn

1 lg. brown paper grocery bag
Spray inside with Pam

Pop 6 quarts of popcorn and put in bag.

In large glass mixing bowl:
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup white karo
1 stick of oleo
1/2 tsp. salt

Cook syrup in microwave for 2 mins. and stir , cook 2 1/2 mins. more. Remove from microwave and add 1/2 tsp. soda and 1 tsp. vanilla. Stir until mixed well.

Pour over popcorn in paper bag and stir with large spoon, just until corn is coated. Fold down bag and place in microwave to cook 1 minute. Remove and shake bag. Place back in microwave and cook for one more minute. Take out and pour onto cookie sheets to cool.
