Taco Soup

2 lb. lean ground meat
1 large onion chopped finely
2 cans diced tomatoes
1/2 to 1 can Rotel tomatoes
1 large can cream-style corn
1 large can pinto beans
1 large can ranch-style beans
1 can white or yellow hominy (optional)
1 pkg. dry taco seasoning
1 pkg. Hidden Valley Original Dressing Mix*
salt and pepper to taste

Brown meat. Drain well. Add onions and saute until almost clear. Add all the canned ingredients. Rinse out all cans with about 1/3 to 1/2 can of water(add to soup). Add taco seasoning. Cook on low heat 1 to 2 hours. Last 15 minutes-add Hidden Valley mix. Watch carefully as this thickens soup.
*This is the secret ingredient that adds great taste.
